Every university has its own course specific eligibility criteria for admission, in order to know the exact eligibility criteria it would be always advisable to browse through the university's website you wish to apply.
Overall, in order to pursue MS degree from universities abroad you need to have:
- Good academic record, preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation.
- Relevant undergraduate degree from recognized university.
- GRE score of 300-320 plus.
- IELTS score of 6-7 bands plus or TOEFL score of 80-90 plus.

at present the best college in India is IIT .so if u wish to go for mechanical b tech only i would strongly recommend u to go for this institute only. after IIT its VJTI coll from Mumbai to give u further guidance i would like to know where exactly u prefer to stay and study .?
