B.ED is no longer sufficient to get a teaching job in schools. You need to appear for Teacher Eligibility Test.
Jharkhand Primary Teacher Recruitment exam has been divided into two parts one is for Class I to V and Class VI to VIII teachers.
If you want to became a lower primary teacher in Jharkhand then you have to appear in Jharkhand TET paper I exam, else Jharkhand TET Paper II exam, eligible candidates may also apply for both posts in Jharkhand.
So far no dates are available. You can visit jac.nic.in for further details.

Dear Bhavani, if you are targeting University of California, it is very good. These are some facts which must know:-
1. During the admission application, you must submit all your academic mark sheets, two letters of recommendations, statement of purpose, GRE and TOEFL scores. Application duly completed, must reach university at least 4-6 months before the start of Fall or Spring sessions.
2. GRE & TOEFL are on line tests and can be given any time of the year.
3. On acceptance of your admission application, university will give you Form I-20 which is required for VISA.
