Yes, they will accept. In some universities, they will ask you to take up a foundation year programme and then proceed for Diploma or degree courses. You need IELTS to get the admission.

No, you cannot. Degree programme have a minimum duration of 3 years, whether it is distance or regular. You can pursue recognized degree only through 3 years of duration.
