Although it is always preferred to have a regular education background as the same is accepted the various career streams but as the Annamalai University is a recognized University, you definitely stand eligible to apply for the IAS exams.

If you are planning to go for MBA through correspondence then i dont think there is a need to give an entrance exam and if possible go for Symbiosis or IMT distance MBA, as the course provided by them is good.
