If you will see the criteria for admission of IIM Kozhikode for the year 2015,you will notice that the final score computation is based upon certain criterias which has its different weightage as follows:
PI 45%
CAT 35%
GD/WAT 15%
WORK-EX 5%
You can quite clearly see the role of work-ex is just 5%,rest all depends upon your score,performance in interview and your GD/WAT.So it just depends upon your performance,chances are equal for freshers as well as work-ex guys.
