The shortlisting is done through a cumulative score of CAT, graduation marks, class 12th marks, class 10th marks, work experience and additional qualifications(if any). Therefore there is no specific cut off for CAT. However, the chances of getting a call are higher if the percentile is higher. One need not worry about the CAT cut off as it is not the deciding factor, but the weighted score of the above parameters is the deciding factor.

With 63% in class 12th you are just on the borderline of the cutoff and you will miss out on points for graduation. Hence to compensate for that you will need to score really well in CAT. 95 percentile will not do, you will have to score more than 99.5 to 99.7 percentile to get calls from old IIMs. With this score you can be assured of calls from multiple old IIMs.
P.S. Please keep in mind that these numbers are indicative and criteria change every year. Also keep in mind that combined seat of all old IIMs are not more than 2500 and assuming only 2.5 lakh students write CAT, only top 1 percentile get a seat. Hence prepare accordingly.

I don't think notes and video of others will help you in any way. CAT tests you on speed and accuracy, the subject is not really difficult. Hence you need to practice a lot. Start with covering the syllabus (which is very basic) and then continue to build on that. The more you practice in real time situations, better it would be for you. Also try to practice in controlled environment so that you get a sense of your performance. If it helps start taking some most online tests. Nothing is substitute to the practice.

Dear Krishna,
As you have not mentioned your graduation course, I am assuming that you are a commerce students, looking at the options that you have written in the question.
Except doing MBA, CA or CS, you can also pursue:
1. Master in Finance.
2. M.Com.
3. PGDM
4. Or short term certificate courses, depending upon your area of interest.

Yes, DBS-Dehradun is very good for placements. PGDM SAP and PGDM Global are well recognized. Value added courses like SAP, Six Sigma, French language and Digital marketing certifications makes DBS stand out from other colleges.

You might receive interview calls from new IIMs but you will not get any call from old IIMs. It is very difficult for an engineering student to get interview calls from old IIMs if he/she does not have more than 97-98 percentile in CAT. Also given your low score in class 12th, you will need to compensate for that by scoring more in CAT. Please note that these numbers are indicative and change year to year, but I would not expect much variation in these.
