Candidates must have a Diploma in any branch of engineering from an AICTE-recognised university. The minimum aggregate score in the qualifying exam must be 60 percent or an equivalent CGPA. For the Reserve category (SC/ST) candidates must have scored a minimum of 50 to 55 percent for different courses in the qualifying exam. If you are a Diploma holder and working professional and want to have a degree to enhance your skills and career, then LEET is for you. The lateral entry is not applicable to every course.
Only a few courses accept lateral entry admission like B.Tech, B.Pharma, etc. So, you will be promoted to the second year.

1- The first benefit is that Candidates are directly promoted to the 2nd year of that particular course. They don't need to qualify for the first-year exam which checks the basic knowledge of the subject.

3- As you are promoted to the second year, there is no need to pay the first-year fee. This helps in saving your money.

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Maharashtra has released question papers for higher senior secondary Certificate (HSC) students. To access the question papers, students have to visit the Maharashtra Academic Authority website and download the question paper. The question papers have been released in the form of PDF. The MHT CET or Common Entrance Test is an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. It is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education. The MHT CET exam is held in English Urdu, Marathi. However, papers in Urdu and Marathi will only be available to those who opt for it in the preferred language section while filling in the form.
