The date for online registration for appearing for the entrance will be out soon( last year's date: May 13- 30). Keep an eye on the college website for any such announcements. Admission to this course is entrance-based and not on the basis of merit. However, a minimum eligibility criteria (based on your board result) for appearing for the entrance is set, which varies from year to year. To get admission you would be required to clear the entrance which is based on your G.K., current affairs, comprehension, analytical and creative skills.

Yes, you can join B.Tech programme after completing Polytechnic in the Diploma of engineering. If you take admission through lateral entry examination after Polytechnic then you will get admission directly into second year of engineering. The Lateral entry examination is state level examination.
