In India, I think there are only 3 ways to get Dr. prefix before your name. You have to present a thesis/theory/research paper on any of discipline Science/art/history etc. To get a Ph.D. degree from a university after post graduation. Universities facilitate personnel recognizing their contribution in many field such as literature, Science, sports, music, cinema, social service etc. Be a doctor, professional medical practitioner with medical degrees such as MBBS B.A. M. It is a very easy process:
1st: You have to choose which university you want to do like IGNOU or State Open University.
2nd: You have to upload all the valid documents online.
3rd: You must have mathematics background before, or at least some subjects like statics, and operation research. I would suggest you do your Master's degree from IGNOU because its contents really help you to build your knowledge. If you want some subtle details, you can comment here.
