@Nikhil29039 Placements have been little above average for electrical branch at NIT Allahabad with around 80% students getting placed with an average package of 5.25 lpa. Since the PSUs have stopped visiting the campus from 2012 the placements have seen a dip for electrical department.Atmosphere is quite good with friendly seniors and there has been not even a single ragging incident since 2012.The faculty for electrical department is a mixed bag with some professors quite good having done Phd. from IIT but some important subjects like power system and network systems are not taught that well.In the end its my suggestion if you have all branches open for you at NIT Allahabad then definetely go for Computer Science or Information Technology because they have the placement stats here and this suggestion comes from a placement co-ordinator directly i.e. me.

After M pharma u can join certain companies like Cipla, Ranbaxy, Dr Reddy laboratory , aventis etc. You can get in to the pharmaceutical industry for a job. If you are interested in the academic field, you can attend the NET exam and get in to the lecture positions. If you qualify in the NET exam, you can get in to lecture positions in the government colleges or universities. This is the job prospective after M pharmacy:-

Drug inspector jobsThere are certain good colleges/institutes like Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology Kanpur, GSVM Medical College Kanpur, Lovely Professional university Punjab, providing better education to the students.
