Choice is completely yours. If you pursuing regular M.COM, then you can begin with its preparation and sit for exams only after you finished with your masters.
If M.COM is a distance degree in your case, then you can pick as per your convenience.

1. Written examination having objective test
2. Descriptive test.

You should qualify 12th & graduation with good grades & then prepare for banking exam.
Do 12th & graduation from commerce stream for better knowledge in this field.
Such as for Clerk or P.O. post level exams.
For preparing banking you should be graduate.
