There are three equations that I need to wrute below to make you understand this concept.
The first two come under ohm's law
V=IR. And. mmf=(phi).r
Where V is voltage (emf)I is currentR is resistanceMmf is magnetomotive force(Phi) is magnetic fluxr is reluctance
Now both of these are similar, one is for electric, other is for magnetic.
So current in electrical quantity is equivalent to flux in magnetic quantity. {Note this}
When I current is given to primary coil, (phi) flux will be generated in ideal conditions.
And then this flux is felt at the secondary side.
Also mmf=NIWhere mmf and I are the sameN is the no. Of turns in a coil.
So I also told you to note that sentence which says current is equivalent but jot EQUAL.
Try to put the above equation in terms of I current. It will be I=mmf/N
Which means it also depends on the number of turns of the secondary coil. Whether how much current can be taken from that coil.
