The Institute offers undergraduate programme Bachelor of Architecture. The duration of programme is 4 years. This course is affiliated to YCMOU.
Eligibility
H.S.C. with 50 with English and Mathematics. For Reserved Categories 45 and Passing.
The five-year Bachelors Degree new programme in architecture of the University of Mumbai has been organized into 5 years and 10 terms. It incorporates Design and Planning, Arts and Humanities, Science and Technologies, Practice and Management components. The dynamic academic programme ensures that while students progress from the basic to complex and from general to particular, they acquire synthesis of awareness, skills and applications. Thus each year enables students to enhance their knowledge holistically.
The College follows the guide-lines of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), the Council of Architecture (COA) and the University of Mumbai (UM) for its academic programme. It maintains a high faculty/student ratio of 1:10 as prescribed by the AICTE & COA. The Core faculty consists of senior professors and asst. professors with vision, academic and professional experience as well as young lectures with high motivation and dedication.

Hi there is a common entrance exam for engineering both at state level and national level. The National Level exams are IIT-JEE, AIEEE,VIT, SRMCET,etc. It is popularly called as the Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) and it is conducted for the engineering admissions in the seventeen IITs in India. The current question pattern comprises of two objective type question papers, and each of the question papers consists of questions form subjects like, math, physics, and chemistry. The questions are designed with an objective to test the comprehensive, reasoning and analytical skills of the candidates. AIEEE,t comprises of two different types of question papers, one consisting of questions from the subjects, like, math, and physics, and chemistry. This is an objective type question paper with equal marks to each three subjects. The second type question paper comprises of questions from mathematics, engineering drawing and it also consists of aptitude type questions. Thus, the first type of question paper is meant for B.E. and B.Tech degree admissions and the second type question paper is meant for the B.Arch and B.Planning degree admissions. The AIEEE would give a national wide rank.

Hi Kiran, although the terms interior decoration and interior design are similar, and thus are often used interchangeably, there are many differences between the two.
Interior Design requires professional experience and training, you must be certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification, whereas, Interior Decorators require no formal education, you could start working as one any day. Interior decorators typically work with the insides of buildings including homes, businesses and focus mainly on the surface decorations. They may be working with an entire building or just a single room to make the space aesthetically pleasing. They concentrate on space-planning, color schemes, fabrics, etc. In order to achieve this, you will need to be able to review and measure space, prepare room layout proposals, obtain cost estimates, etc. An Interior Designer needs a more specific skill set. Their job can include interior decoration, but also extends to the actual buildings as well.
As interior decoration and design can lead you to very different career paths. It is important to consider which profession suites you best.
