Frankly speaking ARCH College of Design and Business does not accept scores of any examination including All India Entrance Exam for Design or AIEED, that this Institute conducts itself on an all India basis. It has an elaborate method what they call as a four stage method of selecting suitable candidates for their different design courses. The USP or the motto of the college is that they select candidates based on their attitude for design and not the aptitude for scoring high marks in any examination. Due to this avowed guiding thought, their own entrance exam is only a means of testing the attitude of the students and not their aptitude for scoring marks. Thus, theoretically a student with very low scoring in either 12th or any entrance examination but excellent attitude for design will be found suitable by this institute for offering admission.

But a student who is studying even in 11th can enter the four stage admission process of this Institute. Of course admission will be granted only after passing of 12th standard examination.

Best on this alone one can say that this student will definitely get admission for B Des at ARCH. But then one needs to know the unique methodology adopted by this institute for giving admission. They claim that they do not give admission only on the aptitude of the students which is determined by different entrance test but they give admission to those students who have attitude for the design even though they may not have scored quite well in any of the entrance exams or even in the 12th board. This Institute conducts its own entrance exam which purportedly analyses the attitude of the student and not the aptitude. And hence appearing for this test which is available for taking over a period of 1 month in the online mode followed by an interview at the institute is a must for seeking admission.
