Congrats for your first step towards your goal. The approximate rank you are supposed to get in GATE for M.Tech (Aeronautical Engg) is around 100 to join in IITs. Note that Aeronautical Engg may also be available in some IITs by the name Aerospace Engg. And, this is the right time for you to focus since GATE is only 2 months away. Good Luck.

If you ave very sizable work experience (more than 6-7 years) then distance learning may be good. If not, I would strongly recommend part time MBA or Exe. MBA.
