The Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) conducts an entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of agriculture, science, engineering, and other allied disciplines. The cut-off marks for each branch are determined based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination.

Basic eligibility for this course is that candidate should have cleared their class 12 exams with minimum pass mark of 50%. If needed, candidate have to clear the ILAM entrance test.
