I dont think so it will work. If you have done +2 then go for B.Sc and then to MBA in Finance.this would be the best combination.you will get good job and your career perspectives are bright, but by doing simple diploma i dont think so it will worth. Some of the best places to study are GNDU, University of Delhi, Panjab University, Lovely Professional University.

Practical methods should be given more importance. I have seen in IIT's and NIT's the method is teaching is conventional and they hardly update there syllabus. in contrast i have seen that in universities like lovely professional university (from where one of my frd studies), their methodology is very advanced, there teaching practises are diffident and modern. They give more emphasizes on practical knowledge.Surprisingly they update there syllabus after every term (6 months) as per the market requirements on the other hand government university ones established never change there syllabus even after years and years.

Whenever you begin to feel the need for a change, learn another skill which you find interest before you step into the other shoes. Compare the two streams- their pros and cons before you commit to one stream.

First of all, I congratulate you on performance in CET. Yes it is worth taking admissions in Balaji, but unfortunately, the classes for the new batch has already started from the date 8-6-15, Their induction is going on as of now, so there is a very little chance that you'll get admissions in balaji. but still I'll suggest you to call the admission cell of Sri Balaji Society once and ask them if there are any vacant seats available. You can get the contact details at www.balajisociety.org .
The average package for the batch 2013-2015 is 5.6 lakhs while the highest package has been 11.4 lakhs. Hope this helps. All the best
