It is replaceable to get the straight entry M.Tech in IIT Patna without an entry in GATE, but only in particular sections. The following are the routes:
1. Any one or more of the following ways through Sponsored or Project Staff Categories (Non-GATE)
M.Tech admissions in IIT Patna without GATE will be done accordingly:
Sponsored Category
Should at least have 2 years experience working in industry, R&D or government.
You have to be sponsored by an organisation to undertake higher education.
No GATE required, though interview and performance is taken into consideration.

The deadline of IIT Patna admission 2025 will be based on the schedule of the entrance examination. The JoSAA JEE Advanced counselling typically concludes in July-August. The dates of JAM and GATE counselling are not standard, one has to see the COAP and CCMN timetable to determine the dates. Applicants are advised to monitor official sites to get proper dates.

Dissection is not directly included in the BTech Biomedical Engineering coursework that focuses more on the applications of engineering fundamentals to the field of biology and medicine.
