The MBA in Banking Management is a two-year, residential programme. The proposed programme is an intensive two-year curriculum. The curriculum covers the basic functional areas of finance and accounting, marketing, human resource management, strategic planning, management and control, and rural finance. The basic principles of economics, behavioral sciences, rural finance, information technology and quantitative methods will be taught in the context of management. On the basis of this foundation, specialized inputs in banking and finance would form a major part of the curriculum.

I would say that Its not only the University tag that which will make your career; it largely depend on your performance on the program and how you utilise the skills you have earned while doing the program to crack the job interviews.
However, PTU is a UGC recognised University & affiliated with DEC, but the opinion about the University can differ from person to person. So, The best way would be to visit the PTU campus once and get the right picture, also try & talk to there current batch students.
