12 Months 2D/3D Animation Course is a Diploma Programme which is a blend of 2D Graphics & Animation and 3D Character/Product Modeling and Animation. We had introduced this Diploma Programme 3 years back, keeping in mind the good demands from Animation Industry for such Artists with integrated knowledge/skills. If you have adequate command on both the skills, you can become very useful Artist for company, working in both the Departments ( 2D & 3D ) as and when your services are required.
At times situations are arising in Animation Companies that for certain reasons company cannot retain entire 2D staff in the event of not having adequate number of 2D projects on hand and such situations some 2D Artists have to lose their jobs. Same thing could happen with 3D Artists too. It is better to have both the skills to sustain in the Industry. It will never keep you out of Job or losing job
For fresher salary package is Rs. 12000 to 15000 and with 2 years experience it could be 18000 to 25000

ICFAI University branches located in following areas are UGC approved and all the programmes offered through these branches are approved programmes: Uttarakhand, Tripura, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Jharkhand, Raipur and Jaipur.
Further as ICFAI Law School is affiliated with ICFAI University so, its degree is also UGC approved, but as far as the permanent status of a University is concerned I would agree with Rexmty that UGC can at any point of time take back the University status of any institute if it feels that the Institute is not performing as per standards.
