scholarships are not based on GMAT/GRE score. they are based on your performance on Acedamic level and also in Canada the scholarships are given on the basis of your performance in the current course and not based on your performance in the previous qualification

Hi Ashwin, there may not be many Unviersities offering Mechatronics, the one I can suggest to you is Universite de Technologie de Compiegne - UTC .You may probably like to try for some other related courses like mech engg or fluid mechanics or mechanics or automobile engg.

Hi Koundinya,
ICFAI University branches located in following areas are UGC approved and all the programmes offered through these branches are approved programmes: Uttarakhand, Tripura, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Jharkhand, Raipur and Jaipur.
Further as ICFAI Law School is affiliated with ICFAI University so, its degree is also UGC approved, but as far as the permanent status of a University is concerned I would agree with Rexmty that UGC can at any point of time take back the University status of any institute if it feels that the Institute is not performing as per standards.
Hope this will be of help. Feel free to put up more
