In order to be eligible to give NET / SET exams one has to be: -
a) A M.Com with more than 55% marks (in aggregate, assuming you are from the open category. The percentage is relaxed for reserved categories) from
b) A University recognized by UGC.
Both Sikkim Manipal & Annamalai University are recognized by UGC & so if you meet the first mentioned criteria of scoring minimum 55% marks in your M.Com exams, you'd be eligible to give the NET/SET exams.

Dear Swati, see just a plain B.com has no value, rather than that if you do a BBA, it would be better, that is if you have not joined, if you r done with your degree then i would suggest that you try to get into a good MBA/PGDM college, this way you will have a good launch pad. wanted to go in network line?
wanted to get good job in higher end? am i right?
if u want to enhance ur career and knowledge as well why don't u choose RHCE. cos most of the Servers r running on Linux and then u opt CCNA. Because knowing LAN then u know about WAN will give u more advantage. After that u opt Oracle DBA So that u can become System Admin or Network Admin or Security Admin or Database Admin as well.
The combination of RHCE+CCNA+DBA will be good. After completing RHCE u will feel a lot of confidence as well.
