But the rank which you see against home rank is AIR rank only. Only benefit home state students get is 50% reservation for home state NIT.

Hi Shriram,the seat allocation is purely based on your overall AIR and not on the state ranking or category AIR.So with this AIR,it seems pretty difficult because last year,even the spot round cutoffs for NIT-TRICHY in your category were 12000 and odd.For more details,visit the CSAB Website and check out the closing ranks after round 3 and spot round for last year.

Mohammed there are many good universities in India that are providing degrees in Civil engineering. Admission to most of the good govt.institutions is through entrance exams which have already taken place. You can check the websites of some of the private/ public universities like Chitkara, Lovely Professional University, Christ university etc for more details about admissions and last dates.

Solution to your problem is some not so good govt.colleges which don't follow percentage criteria or private universities. Check the websites of universities like LPU, MMU, SMU etc.

As per my knowledge, the Government does not have any institute in the name of "National Academy of Indian Payroll".
It would be recommended if you check the credentials of the institute before joining it.
