Both are equally good courses you have to choose according to your interest only. The veterinarians are in high demand in countries like Canada, US, Australia, etc. The career scope of veterinary science is large and is growing faster day by day as people tend to become pet-friendly in nature. The veterinarians work in private clinics, animal hospitals, and laboratories.
On the other hand, after completion of the nursing course, there are various career opportunities available. The nurses can get jobs in both government and private sectors. Mostly they work in areas like government and private hospitals, nursing homes, old age homes, orphanages, various industries, sanatoriums and armed forces.
In B.Sc (Agri) you will study subjects: agriculture science, use of modern scientific equipment and techniques in agriculture, land surveying, soil science, water resource management, animal and poultry management, basics of biotechnology etc. This program aims at combining concepts of biology, technology and Agriculture Science to boost Agricultural Productivity.
There are a lot of career options in both the government and private sector. In the government sector, State Agriculture Departments and public sector banks recruit graduates to fill up officer level posts.
