You can take admission with any percentage in +2 but a low percentage of marks will get you admission in private colleges, not top and government colleges.

To become a lecturer in a college, you have to complete post graduation in the subject you want to become a Lecturer. To become a lecturer, you have to apply, appear and crack NET (National Eligibility Test) examination conducted by UGC two time a year for selection of Lecturer and award to Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed post graduation with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidate) from a recognized university. Yes, you are eligible for the same. For doing Masters in Biotechnology you have to be a graduate from a recognized university in the science field. Make sure that you have first division in your grads as most of the good institutes requires
