Dear Sagar, It is not necessary to do 10+2 while doing Poly but if you failed to get admission in BE/B.Tech then you will have no choice to complete your graduation.
If you are in doing Poly in another branch than IT/CS/CT/ET/EC/EE then you will have no option except BE/B.Tech . If for any reason you failed to secure admission in BE/B.Tech or due to job or other circumstances then it will end your career and if you would require to complete graduation for govt jobs and career progression then you would need to get back to square 1 means start over again 11-10+2 after diploma and then graduation in any other field by regular or distance learning.
If you are yet to get admission in poly, I would suggest you to go for 10+2 and then directly to BE/B.Tech. After 10+2 lots of field will be open for you.

All Indian paratroopers are volunteers. Some enter the Para regiments fresh from recruitment, while others transfer in from regular army units.[4] They are put through a probationary period of six months for PARA (SF) Battalions (1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 & 21 PARA) and three months for PARA Airborne battalions (5, 6 & 7 PARA), where they undergo various physical, mental and psychological tests, with the rejection rate averaging from 70–80 percent.
Those selected are sent to the Paratroopers' Training School (PTS) at Agra, Uttar Pradesh for their Basic Course in Paratrooping, which includes ground and air training.

Please remember both the fields you mentioned are two different fields and both offers good career prospects ans excellent growth opportunities.
Regarding MBA please remember it is a holistic course which deals with management aspects, the major specialization in MBA are:

Initial pay scale for MBA professionals in media ranges from Rs.25,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, this will go up as you gain more experience.
In order to pursue full time MBA or PGDM program you need to be graduate in any field with atleast 50% marks in graduation, plus you need to take various management entrance test like CAT, MAT, XAT, SNAP, etc.
