Taking up PhD abroad is a good option. Mostly Phd program are sponsored and you need not pay any fees for that. In US and cananda it is 4 years program. In UK it is 3 years program. Saving one year in your life is more precious and mostly 40% of Phd's in the world comes out of UK universites. thsi is becasue many indistries had sponsored their programs in UK universites. Hence fisrst you decide which u country you will opt for.
Secondly you decide how much you are willing to apend or taking a bank loan and how much you will be eable earn while doing your PhD. currently my students doing their masters are able to earn around one Lakh permonth by doing 20 hours part tiem per week. that means the fees what they pay they are able earn back. compare thsi with other country and decide.
Thirdly I said most of your program of Phd are sponsored, that is you need not pay fees they pay stiphen to do research. However Indian students getting this is very less percentage. This is becasue our master in India are not equal to masters in abroad. There is not much focus on specilisdation ont he subject here. Normally they will tell we don't know your reserch level. To avoid this issue you can take one year research degree in UK, it is called Mresearch , this will help you to get PhD with stiphen. thsi also will help you reduce one year and phd will become two years in UK.
Another point is you have to select teh universities based on your reseach area.
first you have to prepare a good research proposal. complete you IELTS with minimum 7 band and then apply to universites. The guide will have personal interaction with you before they offer your admission.
With your msrkd mentioned above you can get admission, but more than your marks your research proposal will be the issue to admit you.
