If the course you choose matches your profile and career plans and if you can explain this to the universities and visa officer clearly there is no reason why they won't give you a visa. To apply for project management you have to show relevant knowledge , interests and project works. Your SOP and LOR will also be very important.

MBA, being a Master's degree, can be done only when one has completed his/her Bachelor's from any particular background B.Com B.Sc. B.A. BMS, etc.).

No, the CMAT exam is generally held only once a year in the month of January. FYI, there is an exam called MAT which is conducted in May.
