* Pass CPT examination
* Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC)
* Complete 9 months of Study Course.
* Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT).
* Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week).
* Pass Group I or both Groups of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE).
* Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years.
* Pass Group II of IPCC if not already passed.
* Appear in Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training.
* Pass both the Groups of Final examination.
* Get Final Examination Certificate.
* Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable
* Complete Course on General Management and Communication Skill

All candidates seeking admission to Amrita's MBA Program are required to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in November / December 2012 or GRE or MAT (AIMA) scores are accepted. Since you have good GRE score and reasonable TOEFL score, you can expect admission in Amrita.
For those who aspire to be part of MBA-MS* Program at Bengaluru, offered jointly by Amrita School of Business and University at Buffalo, New York, a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the Secondary/Higher Secondary/Predegree examinations (or equivalent) and for the Graduation examination conducted by a Board/ University is required. TOEFL score is a pre-requisite for the MBA MS Program.
Amrita has its campuses in Bangaluru, Kochi, Coimbatore and Amritapuri. Its first batch has passed out in 2011 so much is not known about its ranking among top B-schools of India. Its website does not speak anything about campus placement and the company names which selected its students. Since, for any B-school it is very important to provide campus placement, you should visit one of its campus first and check out yourself.

Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.

-The average package for fresher will be Rs. 15,000 per month.

-Senior engineers earn between Rs 30,000 and Rs 50,000 per month.

Pursuing MBA abroad is always a good option, the main reason for seeking a MBA degree from abroad are:
- Getting a better quality of education.
- Improves career opportunities.
- Broaden international experience.
- Gaining exposure to different cultures.
However, please remember in order to pursue MBA from good universities in US , you need to have atleast 2-3 years of full time work experience after graduation.
Besides work experience you also need to have very good academic record, preferably 60%-70% plus in graduation, plus you need to take below mentioned test:
1. GMAT.
2. TOEFL.
Please note that some universities in US also accepts general GRE score for admission in their MBA program.

As you are already a graduate in automobile engineering you can further opt for M.E./M.Tech if you have interest in technical background. Or you may study MBA to frame a career in management stream.

You may even opt for short / long term automotive courses related to designing, development or manufacturing. The course selection depends on you where do you want to fit in. So, decide wisely.

After the course completion, automobile manufacturing industries such as TELCO, L&T, Ashok Leyland, Mahindra & Mahindra, Heldex India, Bajaj Autoand Gabrial employ automotive engineering graduates as Senior Production Engineer, Quality Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer etc.
You may also join defence services or set up your own business venture or take up traditional teaching profession.
