IMI Bhubaneswar uses CAT/XAT scores along with sectional scores and other academic parameters like marks in 10th, 12th and graduation for the purpose of shortlisting. The selection criteria are independent of CAT/XAT scores. It varies across the years just as the short-listing criteria and depends on the overall profile of the applicants each year.

Cutoff for this year has not been out yet. I will be declared once the registration are closed. The last tear cutoffs were 65 percentile. So this year also you can hope it will be same or may be around the same figure. And regarding fresher placements it really worth. We are already done with 95% placement of our current batch(14-16) till date from which 48% are freshers. 21 LPA highest, Avg CTC 10.09, Median: 9, Avg CTC(Laterals): 10.82, Avg CTC(freshers) 9.18 . Still we have 3 months for the batch to passout. Hopefully we wind up the placement process by end of this month. Regarding sectors consulting, ecommerce, bfsi, fmcg, IT/ITES,

No you have to pay hostel fees separately of 69,600 for six months, and caution deposit of 15000, the college will provide books, lectures, library, activity centre, etc. for the fee.
