There are basically 4 sections in Bank exam - Verbal Ability, DILR, Quants and GK.
Verbal Ability:
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. It will also help you to get in touch with basic vocab. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do a proper analysis of articles on the editorial page. Try to make a summary of articles that you read para by para. You can switch to the book called WORD POWER MADE EASY by NORMAN LEWIS.
DILR
The best thing to score in LR-DI is to practice more questions on a daily basis so you understand which sets you should leave and before attempting the sets what are the things you should look for. I would suggest 'Puzzles by George J Summers'.
Quants
This section is one of the most scoring section for student and you too should try to get maximum marks in this section. It has a proper syllabus and you need to practice each and every chapter. The major topics are- Geometry, Arithmetic, Algebra, Number System and Modern Math. It is basically the math that you have studied till the tenth standard. However, having said that, the questions are not really easy. Focus more on Arithmetic and Algebra as these two are the most important topics.
GK
Read newspaper daily for current affairs and go for Lucent for GK.

1 B.E. /B.Tech. MARINE ENGINEERING

4 DME COURSE (Diploma MARINE ENGINEERING)
This is a 2 years long pre-sea training course for Diploma holders. On completion of the course, candidates are awarded Class 4 Marine Engineer Certificate of Competency. Ministry of Shipping, India, provides this certificate
5 GP RATING COURSE
GP Rating stands for General Purpose Rating. It is a 6 months long course. After completion of the course, candidates may join Merchant Navy ships as Deck or Engine crew. Along with sea service, they may also rise through ranks, depending on their performance
6 DECK RATING COURSE
Though GP Ratings course covers aspects of deck crew training, separate deck crew training courses are also available. The pre sea training course lasts 6 months
7 ELECTRO TECHNICAL OFFICER (ETO) COURSE
ETO training course will help eligible candidates become Electrical Officers aboard merchant navy ships. Electrical Officers are responsible for maintaining and supervising all the electrical and electronic equipment present in a ship
8. COMMERCIAL DIVING
If you want an adrenaline filled job, commercial diving will suit you! The job of a commercial diver involves diving under water and performing tasks like survey, welding, cable laying, obstacle spotting and removing, underwater cutting etc. Commercial Diving course trains students and makes them capable of performing the tasks mentioned above. Generally, the training course is 2 months long.
