Certification holds the key for any professional course. It is the ultimate testimonial for the knowledge acquired on any subject. Now the certification cannot be issued by all. The desired value can only be achieved from certificates issued by proper authority. Just erase the University logo from your graduation certificate and you will understand the difference.
In the field of SAP consulting, the only authority to issue such certificates is SAP itself. They design courses and deliver them through their authorized education partners. SAP is a global entity and runs its courses all across geography. Hence, it has a global acceptance and known as Global Certificate. It is the ultimate benchmark for the skills and knowledge acquired on any specific SAP module. Certificates issued by any other entity is of absolutely no value.
From the employment perspective, the main employers to SAP consultants are IT consulting companies like:

The course fees is relatively higher, but it is a one time investment that one makes and fetches the benefits for rest of their entire professional career.
