Hello Yes, the first year is common for all MBA courses is same. In the second year the student will study specific subjects related to his field which is chosen by him. The subjects which every first year student studies irrespective of his major are:
1.Financial management
2.Operations management
3.Marketing management
4.Human resource management
5.Financial accounting
6.Business research method.
Sometimes subjects also varies college to college but generally they remain same.
