Yes, you can get admission into M.Sc Tech in Applied Geophysics through IIT JAM.
IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) for admission to various postgraduate courses including M.Sc, Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, etc.
The Department of Applied Geophysics at IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Dhanbad offers a two-year M.Sc Tech program in Applied Geophysics. Candidates who have completed a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics or Geology with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for reserved category candidates) are eligible to apply for this course through IIT JAM.
To apply for the course, you need to appear for the IIT JAM exam, which is usually conducted in February every year. You can visit the official website of IIT JAM for more information on the exam and the application process. Once you qualify in the exam, you can apply for admission to the M.Sc Tech in Applied Geophysics program at IIT Dhanbad.

Students can fill online admission form on WSM website. Students can mail their documents on mail id and make the payment online by any Debit/Credit card on WSM site or can send the documents with DD to Headquarters / Corporate Office.
DAY 1: Enrollment process.

DAY 7: As the candidate will submit the online form after approval from WSM the Welcome letter and ID card will be available on student panel online. Within 45 days, study material and books will be provided through courier.
Fast Track Examinations can be flexibly given at any date as per your convenience, post 3 months in the case of DBA and post 6 months in the case of other courses from the date of Enrollment.
