HI Venkataraman, To pursue PhD you need to first prepare your research proposal and send it to the university. The research proposal must include a summary of the proposal and then the proposal in detail. You need to write the topic, reason for doing research, how the research will be beneficial to the community and the university, what is the different thing you are doing that hasn't been undertaken earlier. Also, include how you will progress during the research and the duration you might need to achieve the milestones you have set. If the university accepts your proposal you will be asked to send in your documents after which you will get the offer letter. Then meeting all the requirements you can begin with the visa process. To approach a University you must contact the dean or the professor at the University and ask them if there is any research going on. Because its always not mentioned on the University's website whether the research in your field of interest is going on or not.
To know the names of Universities kindly specify which sector of technology you want to pursue PhD. If there are any I will let you know the names.

Hi Niru, you have already completed MCA, you can start working in the same field if you would like. you can get into Hardware, software or networking broadly. Hardware may not pay you well. But software and networking are well paying fields. Under software you have many options, if you are good in programming you can start looking for companies that have requirements in your language of interest and apply to those for jobs.
Other than this, you can take up jobs as consultants or IT analysts or go into web designing or technical writing oir move into graphic designing or even multimedia. Software testing is another good option if you do not like programming.
Each subject in IT/CS is so vast that it can be taken up as a profession. Hence, all you need to do is find out what interests you and enhance your knowledge if need be and start applying for jobs.
