Hi Syed,
Well, no doubt, regular courses are given first preference as compared to the correspondence courses. During interview phase you might need to state the reason for pursuing the course through correspondence mode. But, not to worry, this won't make much difference if your fundamentals are strong. Getting a job entirely depends on your communication skills, domain knowledge, presence of mind during the interview phase and if you perform well then getting a job will be easier and correspondence study won't make much difference.

The Application form to apply for B.Tech. admission at Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology can be downloaded from www.rajagiritech.ac.in (PROSPECTUS, APPLICATION FORM & INDEX CARD)from 1st June 2012 onwards.
The downloaded application together with the index card, duly filled , has to be submitted along with a DD of Rs.300/- drawn in favour of
“Principal,
Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology,
Rajagiri Valley,
Kochi – 682039”
Kerala
Prospectus and Application form also can be obtained from the college office between 9 am and 4 pm from 1st June 2012 onwards . The cost of the application form is Rs 300/-(Rupees three hundred only).
Note:
Admission is purely on merit basis
Last date for submission of filled applcation form will be 25th june.

Salary hike: would depend on your academic background,experience,domain knowledge,interview skills,communication skills during the interview.If you have a related academic background , then an advanced certificate from a good university/college may increase your pay scale considerably. A trainee level entry with prior degree education and advanced certificate can expect 10k -15k or more depending on salary structure of the job applied for.
Vacancy:would depend on job opening. Generally,retail and managements sectors ,banking, commerce and administration sector hire FT candidates
Demand : is from the above mentioned sectors since FT courses teach students about all management subjects such as finance, economics, interpreting business trends, administration basics along with imparting skill of marketing and sales.
Future:Professionals are employed in buying houses; export units,international departments of multinational companies in government units such as STC and MMTC, job in international trade at the advisory levels in a number of public sector undertakings is possible.

It is not only the GK but about the whole process of IAS selection which is toughest in India due number of serious aspirants, examination stages and procedures.
