Hi Syed,
Well, no doubt, regular courses are given first preference as compared to the correspondence courses. During interview phase you might need to state the reason for pursuing the course through correspondence mode. But, not to worry, this won't make much difference if your fundamentals are strong. Getting a job entirely depends on your communication skills, domain knowledge, presence of mind during the interview phase and if you perform well then getting a job will be easier and correspondence study won't make much difference.

After Diploma you can take admission in any Degree college. You will get admission directly in second year.
Take admission through LEET.
You can also do 1 year Post Diploma.
If you want to do job that you can do Post Diploma through correspondence from AMIE.
It is very difficult to take admission in 2nd year in NIT, they require very high percentage.
But you can do any 6 month or 1 year Information Technology course in NIIT, it will boost your carrier and you will get good job.

Hi,
Salary hike: would depend on your academic background,experience,domain knowledge,interview skills,communication skills during the interview.If you have a related academic background , then an advanced certificate from a good university/college may increase your pay scale considerably. A trainee level entry with prior degree education and advanced certificate can expect 10k -15k or more depending on salary structure of the job applied for.
Vacancy:would depend on job opening. Generally,retail and managements sectors ,banking, commerce and administration sector hire FT candidates

It is not only the GK but about the whole process of IAS selection which is toughest in India due number of serious aspirants, examination stages and procedures. GK can never be learnt through any coaching but rather developed through constant updation through news papers, quality magazines, business sections of TV reports, social awareness, current agitations, high profile visits, global flash points, war situations, terrorism situation, Padma awardees, sporting high lights etc.
As you would know that IAS exam is conducted in three stages viz Pre-Lims, mains and Personal Interview. Selection of subjects for pre-lims is most critical.
