Salary :
Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc. But, still, to give you a brief idea,
- In trainee level can expect income around Rs. 10000 - 12000 every month.
- Within a short span of time, the salary can go up to Rs.15000 - 20000 every month depending upon the experience and the work.
- In government sectors, the pay scale is not rewarding as the private sector.
- Architects practicing through their own organizations could earn a lot and this could be from thousands to lakhs.
- Consultants charge somewhere around 4 - 10 percent of the total cost of construction in case of apartments and multi-storied buildings.

To become an architect, you need to pursue B.Arch. To be eligible, you need to score minimum 50% marks in 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Computer Science / Chemistry / Biology / Engineering Drawing and two other subjects. B.Arch admissions are based on valid NATA score.
2)
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) :
National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) organizes NATA annually for screening eligible aspirants for admission into Bachelor of Architecture course offered at various institutes in India.
Basic Eligibility Criteria :
-The aspirant should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) or its equivalent examination from a recognized University or Board or Institute to apply for this exam.
-The aspirants currently appearing for the plus two exam are also eligible to attend the exam subject to some terms and conditions specified by the authority.
-The aspirant should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination.
-The aspirant must have at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and also in Mathematics separately.
-The aspirant should be physically and mentally fit at the time of exam.
Age Qualification :
The aspirant should have at least 17 years of age to appear for this exam. There is no upper limit specified yet.

As per your score in CMAT, it would be difficult for you to get admission in good B-school, as as per your profile, I would suggest you to take CAT-2013 and various other management entrance tests and score well so that you may get admission in good B-school of your choice.
Regarding preparation of these tests, I would suggest you to join some good coaching institute in your city which offers quality coaching for various management entrance tests.
These institute offers regular and weekend classes, plus they conduct mock test on regular basis.
