B.E. and B.Tech both are the same. It's just a difference of nomenclature by the universities. Earlier if a university was offering engineering program along with other courses termed it as B.E. and all other institutes offering solely technical courses termed it as B.Tech. Moreover there is no difference in scope and salary between both the courses. You can move with anyone and will be eligible for both.
