According to a few students, there is no life in college, as you feel totally alienated. Lots of restrictions and rules along with academic downfalls all add up to depression. Unless you find your troops it's really hard to survive here. You will not be allowed to go out or out of your hostel post 9 pm. Heavy academic schedules, classes, and assignments add a lot of pressure. If you are an above-average student like me (80 - 90%) in schooling you will find backlogs quite common. Talking about the accommodation outside, you have plenty number of flats and PGs within a radius of 2 km. You would definitely require a two wheeler for your transportation unless you stay in TATA apartments which is a building next to the campus. Some other PGs where students commonly live are Sai Nila, Vinayaka PGs, TATA, SBIOS, etc.
Approximately, the cost for PGs:
NON AC - 3 BEDDED - 9000 per month including three meals a day.
AC - 3 BEDDED - 12000 - 14000 plus AC charges extra (meals included).

The CMAT exam is held for three hours. The exam is sometimes held in a single slot and sometimes in double slot. CMAT 2026 will be conducted in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12 pm and the second shift will be held from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. There is no sectional time limit in CMAT. Candidates have to decide on their own how much time they want to spend on a particular section of the exam. PWD candidates get 20 minutes extra in CMAT.
