Hi Abhimanyu, AMET is recognised by UGC but not in Nz. So it will be difficult for you to enter Nz with a qualification from AMET. AMET is not listed in NOSSR guide, which the educational institutions in Nz refer to while admitting Indian students. you may like to try UK.

There are 2 ways that are possible for you
1. wait for aieee third round of counseling in which you MAY get admission
but if you don't want to waste your time the second option goes here
2.take admission in any private college which has fees structure lower than the top ones and should must have better well laid out workshops
I on my own suggest you a better college
SIIT Jaipur visit the college and decide on your own that is the college good for you or not

Hi again, To begin with you decide whether you want to go for Public sector or private sector. If public sector then you may go for NIRD, NABRARD, Banking sector. If you want a career in international funding agencies and you are well versed with excel and statistical packages like SPSS or Mini-Tab then you can join as a statistician. Foundations likke MS Swminathan Foundation too recruit statisticians for data analysis and interpretation. You may also choose that.
State and central govt are out sourcing the complex data analysis to research orgs, you may also like to become a part of it.
