Hi Shahbaz,
Although, as shiksha is an Education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance, it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion but, frankly speaking Avalon Academy is an Autonomous Institute which has an affiliation with an open University which makes it equivalent to a distance learning programme, so would not have a great value. I would suggest you to go just for BBA rather than going for BBA with some specialization. For more information on BBA courses please check the links below:

Agreed. Besides, you may get admission under govt / free seat in a private college and will pay much lower fees than a paid seat student in the same college. Check it yourself int he concerned college.

Hi Atanu, In addiion to having a graduation you also need to have at least 2 yrs managerial or supervisory work ex and a GMAT score to be eligible to apply for MBA at NUS.
I suppose you are a afresh graduate so you can apply to MDIS.
HI Mayur, before I suggest any univ or college to you I want to know if this experience is managerial or supervisory. To study for MBA in Nz you should have 3 yrs managerial or supervisory. If not, then there are no option in Nz with the executive level of work exp for MBA. You can try in countries like UK and Australia.

Hi Krishna, maritime courses are good in Singapore and have a very good scope and job opportunities.
All the Universities have careers and placement cells that help the students to prepare for the interview, prepare CV and intimate students about openings in companies. Students must themselves go for the interview and clear. There is no culture of companies coming to University campus and recruiting students.

Hi Rajinder,
You definitely can opt for Retail Management as a specialization in your MBA, as retail is currently at a boom, but you would not find many good Institutes providing this specialization, so next option which you can keep is Operations or Sales & Marketing, depending on whether you want to go for beck end or front end process. Few of them which you may consider are: NIRMA, BIMTECH, IRS, Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research etc. For more information please check the links below:

Hi Rajinder,
Business Schools do not teach you resume building skills rarther, these Schools teach you about business skills, communication skills which develops and moulds your personality in such away that it automatically develop your writing skills and in turn your resume building skills. I would like to add here that if you paln to join MBA go for a full time programme through a decent Institute.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.

Hi Rajinder,
As very rightly observed by you Distance learning programmes generally do not hold great importance. Such programmes are majorly for those working professionals who have good 5-7 years of work experience and are looking to get to the next level in their own organization, so better would be that you should opt for a full time programme through a good B-School.
Hope this resolves your query. Feel free to put up more queries In case your query is resolved please close this question by choosing it as a best answer or pressing the thumbs up icon.

Being a Diploma holder should not hold you back from Professional Opportunities. Yet, it often does. With the declining popularity of the Diploma as a replacement for Graduation Programs in the past decade or so, employers and educational instituitons are increasingly demanding a Graduation Degree as a minimum qualification from their candidates and employees.
Keeping in mind the interest of thousands of Professionals working in the Corporate Sector, who, despite having a brilliant career and work experience , have found themselves at a disadvantage due to the fact that they hold only Diploma's, the Karnataka State Open University, in p
