A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Always remember, managing B.Tech and interior design course together will be strenuous task as both are totally different and demand proper time. So, it is entirely your decision. Opt for both together ONLY if you feel that you can manage.
Secondly, two regular courses can't be pursued together, one should be regular and the other should be distance / short term certificate course. Accordingly, you may go for graduation and pursue short term interior design course afterwards.
Decide sensibly before opting for both the courses.

Eligibility :
The basic eligibility to join interior design course is to pass 12th in any stream. There is no age limit. Admission will be on the basis of the score in the institute’s entrance exam and interview thereafter.
