Hello Vaneet, Top engineering colleges in India means IIT's. Then there will be some private colleges/ deemed to be universities. Here pecking order is difficult to make. Your son needs to study during 11th & 12th with the aim of understanding the subject and obtain at least 75% marks. Then he has to prepare and appear for JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. That's all.

In one year of B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, there are usually two semesters. Each semester

is around 4-6 months long, depending on the university or college. You'll study different subjects,

do practicals, and give exams at the end of each semester.

From my personal experience, I can say that Chandigarh University is best to pursue chemical

engineering and the university provides modern labs, experienced faculty, and industry-focused

learning. Students get hands-on training, which helps them understand real-world challenges in

industries like petroleum, energy, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.

Placements are a highlight here. Top compan

If you have decided to opt for Maths (Hons) just because you are passionate about mathematics which you study at 12th level, then my friend, I think you should think about it once more. Generally, students get attracted towards Calculus which they study at school but in this course, differentiation, integration and almost all the subjects which you study at 12th level are rarely studied. Honours in mathematics at DU almost comprises of studying Pure Mathematics which involves the subjects like Analysis, Group theory etc. Which are generally unheard till class 12th. Pure

Hello,
Lateral entry concept is applicable for entry into graduation level of engineering. This is so since students can join via either 12th or diploma route. But for entry into PG of engineering, there is only one way and hence there is no lateral admission.
