In the General category, CSE and all its subset domains (AI&ML, Data Science, IoT, IT, ECE) are the most competitive ones, and the rank closes with 23,000-45,000 points. The Mechanical and Civil can even surpass 90,000 whereas EEE is 50,000-80,000. Cutoff ranks are higher in BC, SC and ST categories. These cut offs vary every year and thus it is very important to use official TS EAMCET counselling releases.

Seat allotment counselling comprised June/July. Sure, you can get an entry into the ACE Engineering College through direct entry; where usually seats are under their Management Quota (Category B) basis. There is normally no entrance exam rank requirement on this route, but an academic performance of 10+2 (intermediate), minimum 45-50% in PCM is looked upon. Although they usually carry a higher fee charge of management quota seats, it provides a clear cut admission route.
