Hi Anmol, NIILM-CMS is any day better than IMS Ghaziabad. You can compare the placements and fee structure and also have an interaction with the students of NIILM about it. NIILM has got 100% placements record and in 2014-16 batch the placements have already started. The difference is you will find advertisements of other college while NIILM-CMS doesn't give any advertisements. Do visit the campus. Welcome to NIILM-CMS family.

Hi Akash,
To be eligible for Executive PGDM at IMI Delhi, a minimum aggregate of 60% is required in your Bachelors. Moreover, only those candidates who have work experience of 5 years or more can apply.
At IMI, both the programmes- PGDM and Executive PGDM are good, based on their relevance. Till last year, IMI accepted only corporate sponsored students for Executive PGDM, and has allowed self-sponsored students to take admissions only from this year. Hence, I can not compare the two programmes on the basis of placements. But both the programmes have been designed keeping in view different objectives, and are equally good.

Hi Akash,
To be eligible for PGDM, PGDMHR or PGDMBFS, a minimum aggregate of 50% is required in your Bachelors. So you are qualified to apply for any of these programmes. With work experience of 3 years, you certainly add weightage to your profile. However, the final selection depends upon your CAT score and your performance in subsequent rounds, which comprise of academics, work experience, WAT, Extempore and PI. You can compensate for your academic performance with your good performance in other parameters.

Prathmesh, it's not about whether it's worth doing. if you have a hobby go ahead groom it. If you're looking for money, look elsewhere since very few get to the moolah. There are several careers in media in writing, production or post production. you can become a reporter, actor or getting behind the camera to direct, cinematograph or do finishing work as an editor, compositor or a VFX artist who can add reality to 3D vizualizations. you may even be a graphic artist who designs the screens, or an animator who brings stories to life as a proxy actor for onscreen characters. you can get into production, whether live or animated. Future after doing this course depends on what field u r interested in - livelihood, forestry & wildlife, business development & marketing or environment - It is the students who decide what companies to rope in. Actually most of the things are student-driven, even the mess.that is how we learn things here u know. Expect salary around 6,7,8 lac p.a. IIFM has a history of 100% placement in the real sense with no gloss whatsoever. So getting a job is not an issue.
Life after IIFM is initially tough as you are expected to work at the grassroot level (not for change-agents like us who value & relish these kind of exposures) but then ur care
