GIBS Business School has a policy of allowing candidates to apply using several different entrance exam scores. For example, GIBS accepts scores for CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, and GMAT. Additionally, GIBS provides flexibility in allowing applicants to submit multiple entrance exam scores if they have taken several tests. This way students can maximize their chance for admission since the admissions committee at GIBS will utilize only the highest score submitted as the admissions decision. In addition to entrance exam scores, GIBS utilizes many other factors to determine admissions. These include academic performance, communication ability, and interview performance, so that all applicants who display some combination of strengths have an equal opportunity for admission into the MBA or PGDM programs.

Students accepted into the PGDM programme at GIBS Business School must possess an adequate academic foundation and an ample level of aptitude as demonstrated by the Previous Graduate Data Form. On CAT, the usual cutoff is approximately 60%-65%ile (lower than what top-tier IIMs require), but still allows for quality applicants to be accepted into GIBS PGDM program. On MAT, the last cutoff was between 65%-70%, and XAT is closely aligned (approximately 60%-65%ile) to this range of scores. For CMAT, the last cutoff was generally in the range of 65%-70%ile. The GMAT anticipated score range is around 500-550; which is in line with the percentile cutoffs of the previous entrance exams.  

These cutoffs provide only a basic minimum standard to use when shortlisting students for group discussion, individual interviews and writing assessments later on during the admission process. An admission decision can be based on many things including the score received on all entrance exams as well as an individual's educational achievements, communication proficiency and general character. This allows GIBS to accept those applicants who have not achieved exceptionally high scores yet exhibit vast potential as a manager.

Salary expectations vary significantly for jobs abroad for Indians, depending on some factors like country, job sector, and your experience level. Research specific salary ranges for your chosen field, and explore various job posting websites by applying the filter of the specific post that you are looking for and the location to set realistic expectations. 

You can also check the average salary range of your chosen company before appearing for their salary round so that you can put up realistic salary expectations in front of the hiring manager. This will help you not miss out on good job offers as too high and unrealistic salary expectations can put your employer off and you may not get the chance to move to the next interview round.
