Let me tell you both the courses are different from eachother and have a different prospects as both are individual industries, also that depends in which filed you want to make career. Germany is no doubt best for automobile engineering and has a biggest automobile industry so there you will get the best exposure however for software engineering you may have various options like US, UK, Canada , India etc.
If you are interested in Automobile engineering program from germany then these are the good options for you:- RWTH AACHEN University , Dresden University , Technical University Munich etc.

However, ICFAI is UGC approved deemed University but not all its branches are approved, The UGC has included the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University at Dehradun (Uttrakhand) and at Agartala (Tripura) in the list of Universities maintained by the University Grants Commission.
I would like to add here that few of the things which you should remember while choosing the University are: First and foremost the recognition of the Institute (the institute must be recognized by UGC or AICTE), Secondly, the course curriculum and the study material, The infrastructure, The faculty, The placement, Last but not least Institutes reputation in the job market for which you should visit the institute and try and talk to the current batch students and get few of the alumnae contacts as well.
