As you want to have a tranfer to a college from Mumbai Universty, you need to cross check with your college if they have migration rights for mumbai university or if mumbai uni will accept your migration as every college have their own policies.
If they accept it then its okay otherwise you nee to apply for the college from 1st year.

Yes you can become an archaeologist by taking science in 11th and 12th. Basically you need to be 12th pass with any stream but you have to study BA in Archaeology or history 3 years duration course to make a career in Archaeology.
Later you can apply for postgraduate course where you need to score minimum 55%in Graduation to take admission Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma or Post Graduation course.
