As per your interest in genetics, I would say that the field is highly complicated and advanced branch of science which involves a wide range of techniques used in changing the genetic material in the DNA code in a living organism.

The basic eligibility criteria for a master's degree is Bachelor's degree in Science or Molecular Biology.
A qualified genetic engineer, must have a graduate / postgraduate degree in genetics or related fields such as biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology or biochemistry.
Most institutes do not offer it as a special discipline but as a subsidiary in biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry.

Scope :
There is an increasing demand in India as well as abroad in medical and pharmaceutical industries, the research and development departments of the government and private sectors. You can also take up teaching.

Salary :
Salary depends on various parameters such as size of the organization, profile, qualification, experience etc.
But, still, to give you a brief idea, you can earn between 5000 to 8000/ month.
With PhD you can earn up to Rs 10,000/ as a starting salary.
There is no limit for deserving candidates to earn high remuneration.

As per your query, you may consider pursuing some of the below mentioned course:
1. Undergraduate degree in travel and tourism.
2. Undergraduate degree in hotel management.
3. Undergraduate degree in hospitality and aviation, and related course.
Once you complete your graduation then you should work for 2-3 years and then pursue MBA in hospitality or aviation as it will further enhance your career prospects.
Besides the course mentioned above you may also consider pursuing certificate or diploma course in:
- Airline Ticketing.
- Air Safety Training.
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
- Cabin crew training.
- Aviation Safety Training, and related courses.
