A good strategy always won half the battle. So, it is important to see all factors that play an important role, tackle them one by one. One important thing to do is to look at the previous year exam analysis, understand the exam with the help of insights from toppers and experts and then strategies keeping in mind the MHT CET 2019 syllabus, exam pattern, books to read from and practice sessions. Since MHT CET syllabus is from class 11th and class 12th, it is wise to be organized from class 11 itself. Learn the chapter well, practice problems at the end of the chapter from the text book. Eligibility: - Any Group in Plus Two / XII (OR) Equivalent Examination (Girls are also admitted).
The applicants who have passed the following examination should submit an eligibility certificate from the University of Madras.
a) Higher Secondary or equivalent examination conducted by all other State Boards except Tamil Nadu.
b) All degree (UG/PG) examinations conducted by any university other than University of Madras / foreign countries.
The online registration process should be completed within 10 working days from the date of publication of the result of Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Course.

Candidates fulfilling the below-mentioned requirements meet NEST eligibility criteria:Candidates should pass Class XII in Science stream from a recognized board in India with at least 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ ST/ PwD category candidates). Candidates should have passed Class XII either in 2017 or 2018. Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2019 are also eligible to apply. Candidates should have studied a combination of any three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in classes XI and XII. Age criteria: Candidates belonging to General and OBC categories should be born on or after August 1, 1999 in order to fulfill NEST eligibility criteria. Age limit relaxation of five years is given to candidates belong to SC/ ST/ PwD category. For OBC category candidates, the OBC (NCL) certificate should be issued on or after June 1, 2018.
