If you are doing a Master of technology with a good specialisation and your academics are good, then you can get a package in the range of INR 8 LPA to INR 15 LPA in mechanical. Few might get fewer packages around INR 5 LPA or INR 6 LPA. Even the universities which come to hire, pay more than INR 6 LPA. Mostly the package of all the companies is more for Master of Technology candidates than Bachelor of Technology candidates.
